Who are my cake loving clients? From commissions for Wedding cakes to special event cakes, patisserie desserts, handmade chocolates to wedding favours, I am fortunate to work with individuals and organisations who are discerning, creative and love their food. I’ve been asked to make cakes in many styles, from a black gothic wedding cake to more traditional floral designs. Rich chocolate is a perennial favourite and I’ve made birthday cakes for many ages from a beautiful butterfly garden taken from the design brief of a very creative 5 year old through to a multistory car park (for a grown up!).
So far my cakes have been to Royal Bank of Scotland, Brewin Dolphin, Durrants Hotel, Marylebone London, Longueville Manor Hotel, Jersey and The Atlantic Hotel, Jersey amongst other well known commercial and legal organisations. My brides are holding their weddings in venues as diverse as Central London to Norfolk to The Channel Island of Sark, and they have a wonderful range of unique cake designs that are showcased here on the site.
BBC Jersey Children in Need will have a stunning 2 tier Rebeccah May Christmas cake for auction as a stand alone centre piece at their carol concert this December 2011 in St Helier.
In 2010 I was invited by the PR Agency Murray Wier Willats who represent Sanderson & Zoffany Fabrics (Sandersons celebrated their 150th Anniversary in February 2010) to provide sweet treats for the celebratory PR event. Murray Wier Willats and Sanderson & Zoffany liked my Christmas cup cakes so much they sent them as Christmas gifts to their business contacts as well as the Editors of luminary titles including World of Interiors, House and Garden, Good Housekeeping, Elle Decoration, Period Living, Homes & Gardens, Mail on Sunday You, The Telegraph Magazine, The Guardian Magazine.
So far, in 2010 and 2011 my cakes have ventured to World of Interiors, The House of Lords and Barclays Bank, BBC Jersey Children in Need. Cakes have been commissioned from Singapore and have travelled to their party destinations across the UK and Jersey.
I don’t just stop at cake (I defy anyone to just stop at cake!), I make patisserie desserts for intimiate dinner parties through to large scale events. Hand made sweets have disappeared fast at London gastro pubs and I’m well known for my Christmas cakes; traditional fruit, untraditional (think chocolate) and beautiful hand decorated cup cakes.
I offer a special thank you to those individuals who trust me so completely they order over the internet and have their cakes posted across country. My cakes don’t just stay in the UK, they have passports! My international cakes have travelled to The United States of America, Belgrade, Paris, Germany and Japan. With kitchens in the UK and The Channel Islands my cakes travel far and wide.
Other London clients included The General Manager of The Fox & Hounds, Latchmere Road, The General Manager of The Elephant on the Hill, Lavender Hill. My private clients are national and international individuals.
