Online Cake & Chocolate Shop
My first shop, an online cake & chocolate shop launched successfully on 19th November 2010 with an initial offer of luxury Christmas cakes, all Christmas cakes have been made in the Summer months and are matured and well fed with award winning brandy and sherry. Shopping for cake online has never been so easy and this Christmas a new cake has been added, Warmly Spiced Christmas Carrot Cake so if you don’t like Traditional Christmas Cake, you can still have your cake and eat it!
In January 2014 the range the online cake shop will be completely re built and will expand to amazing event cakes by post, treats and chocolates. The shop will expand it’s designs and gift ideas over the coming 12 months to cover a wide range of delicious products in readiness for Valentines Day. You will also be able to buy Rebeccah May Cake Gift Vouchers. Items are made on demand and are beautifully packaged and delivered with care to your chosen destination. There is a full gift service so you can send perfect presents that will have a very memorable impact on the lucky recipient!
The Emergency Services Bake Off – Operation Bakewell
2013 saw the Emergency Services of Jersey combine their open day with a baking competition. The code name was Operation Bakewell and everyone was welcome to enter a cake, biscuit, bun or show stopper of a confection for judging. I was honoured to be asked to be a judge alongside Michelin Star chef, Shaun Rankin. The competition will be held in 2014 and more details will be posted in Summer 2014.
Genuine Jersey accreditation
I was awarded Genuine Jersey accreditation making my cakes Genuine Jersey Cakes! I am looking forward to collaborating with other talented Genuine Jersey members including Jersey Oak who are producing a range of Christmas Crackers this year which include a voucher booklet in which I’m offering discounts to those who purchase the crackers and hold the discount book. I will be working with other great Jersey producers using wonderful local ingredients to make some unique Jersey cake and Jersey biscuit products for 2014 and will be attending various events. I’m so looking forward to my 2014 photo shoots which are always huge fun, very sugary and help make my cakes come to life for potential clients. The shoots will take place in Spring 2014 to showcase both the Bespoke Cake collection available by appointment and the Pret a Porter collection available via the Rebeccah May Cake & Chocolate Boutique.

Cakes to the Channel Islands
I am passionate about the Channel Islands having spent my happy childhood school holidays with my parents in Jersey staying with my resident Godparents. Now my husband lives and works on Jersey and I now have a fully operational kitchen base within walking distance of central St Helier. Newly launched in Jersey, hen party cup cake decorating lessons, where you learn all about cupcakes from mixture to baking, decorating to presentation from a fully qualified patisserie & confectionery chef who will teach you all the tricks of the trade.
A cup of tea and a slice of cake!
Next year I will launch my new Tea which is being blended especially for us. The tea will be available in a variety of caddy sizes from usual kitchen size to wedding favour caddy size. It is anticipated that a range of teas will be added to the inital house blend enabling you to have a unique cup of tea with your slice of cake.
Special Reserve Christmas cakes 2013
In the Autumn of 2013 Special Reserve Christmas cakes will be launched. I have been patiently waiting to create a limited numbered range of ultra mature cakes and the cakes for the 2013 release are now made and they have received their 2nd feed of brandy and sherry. This is an exercise in patience for as planning the mature range for public availability starts 18 months ahead. They take time to make and a great deal of time to feed and mature them! These cakes will be numbered and available in limited quantities. Each cake will be decorated with one of three highly intricate and desirable designs to match the high end luxury status of these Special Reserve Christmas cakes.
